Mercell collects all information about tenders on Udbudsportalen and supplements the tenders with relevant information that they collect, process and structure for their users. In 2017, Mercell handled and published 36.383 pieces of information. The information is distributed through market monitoring updates to suppliers, who daily or weekly receive an overview of the newly published relevant public tenders. The overview is delivered by e-mail with an active link to the tender system, where the suppliers can get more information about the current tenders, previous tenders, contracts won and contracts that are about to expire.
The information in Mercell’s tender system is valuable for both buyers and suppliers. Mercell also offers to draw up individual reports e.g. market analyses that can actively be used by the suppliers’ sales departments. News about collaborations and public authorities are available through Mercell’s Udbudsguide (tender guide) and their blog. Companies can sign up to receive Mercell’s newsletter and will also receive a thorough overview of active tenders 3-4 a month.
