Get an overview of our collaborations. At FORTEM, we know that strong collaboration lead to better results and more knowledge generation. We make collaborations with competent and accomplished companies and organisations that help contribute to developing the best tools and processes for handling the public procurement process – regardless of which side of the table you are on.

We use the knowledge and tools from our collaborations to better prime our clients to the bid process, as well as provide them with the best bid assistance, quality assurance and counselling during the entire procurement process – from prequalifications to the final bid.

In 2017, we helped our clients win contracts for a total value of 3.5 billion kroner

Since 2016, FORTEM has been part of Invest in Denmark’s Service Provider Network. On Invest in Denmark’s Global Conference 2016 in Aarhus, FORTEM made a presentation for international investment managers from Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei and Barcelona about the opportunities for international companies to bid on public procurements in Denmark . In collaboration with Invest in Denmark and the law firm NJORD, FORTEM has also hosted a Contractor event in Madrid for contractors who are interested in entering the Danish market.

Center for Forskning i Offentlig-Privat Samspil (COPS) (Research Centre on Public-Private Collaboration) is a network-organized center involving researchers from five Danish universities and international researchers from fifteen universities in Europe and the US. The purpose of COPS is to produce knowledge about the effects, experience and frameworks for the public-private collaborations in Denmark and internationally. Professor (MSO) Ole Helby Petersen is the center leader of COPS. In 2017, he was a key speaker at FORTEM’s tender event on Børsen in Copenhagen.

Mercell has been the online meeting place for public buyers and suppliers since 1999.In their up-to-date tender system, Udbudsportalen, all tender- and bid processes are digitalised and all the tender procedures are handle according the rules and laws in force.

More than 100 Danish public buyers are actively using Mercell’s tender system. In 2017, Mercell handled 1.729 Danish tenders, and 8.450 buyers made bids for Danish tenders.

Mercell collects all information about tenders on Udbudsportalen and supplements the tenders with relevant information that they collect, process and structure for their users. In 2017, Mercell handled and published 36.383 pieces of information. The information is distributed through market monitoring updates to suppliers, who daily or weekly receive an overview of the newly published relevant public tenders. The overview is delivered by e-mail with an active link to the tender system, where the suppliers can get more information about the current tenders, previous tenders, contracts won and contracts that are about to expire.

The information in Mercell’s tender system is valuable for both buyers and suppliers. Mercell also offers to draw up individual reports e.g. market analyses that can actively be used by the suppliers’ sales departments. News about collaborations and public authorities are available through Mercell’s Udbudsguide (tender guide) and their blog. Companies can sign up to receive Mercell’s newsletter and will also receive a thorough overview of active tenders 3-4 a month.
